hi there! My name is Achsah (sounds like Axa), and I’m a new artist currently based in Tallahassee, Florida while I finish up my commercial music degree at Florida State University. I’ve been singing ever since I was a little girl, thankfully grew up with a piano teacher for a mom, and picked up the guitar when I was 17.

It wasn’t always my plan to pursue songwriting, but halfway through my Musical Theater degree I realized that I constantly wanted to song-write and didn’t have any time to. I knew that at the end of my life I would regret not trying to share my music and my heart with the world. So I changed my major, switched paths, and have gained so much knowledge and so many friends along the way!

My goal is to spread love and light through incorporating honesty and hope into my music. Even though a lot of my songs are on the sadder side, the raw emotion and vulnerability they exhibit allow for light to break through in the midst of hardship. For it is only when we are honest about what we go through that we can begin to heal. I believe all my songs carry a sense of growth in them, which is exactly why my logo is a flower! I want to grow through every song I write, whether it’s through understanding myself, God, someone else, or a life circumstance in a new way.

I love music (obviously), Jesus, sunsets, flowers, the color yellow, coffee (lots and lots needed), my friends, family, and so much more!

My music is the way I process everything, and I’m so thankful for the gift that it is to my life! I hope that I can help you connect with your deeper emotions through listening to it.
