With musical inspirations like Lizzy Mcalpine, JP Saxe, Maisie Peters, and Lauren Daigle, I’ve created a soft acoustic pop feel to my sound. I love all different genres of music, and I try to combine as many different styles as I can on any one album. My music holds elements of the pop, indie, folk, country, and jazz genres.
I absolutely love the depth of emotion that songwriting can contain. A lot of my music holds things that are easier to sing than to say. My music is a combination of all of my life experiences, influenced by the people I know and the things we all are going through. I aim for my music to break through the surface and reach the depths of human hearts. I strive for every song to hold an authenticity to what I am going through, while keeping an air of innocence.
I find myself in between the sacred and the secular world. I love writing songs about Jesus, and I love writing songs about life struggles in the midst of my faith (more often than not… boys). I feel called to be a bridge between worlds; for we all experience similar feelings and struggles, and that is actually what unites us. I believe at our absolute core - we are the same. So my hope is that in being as honest and authentic as I can, that others can relate to what they hear.
I am currently working on a few projects I’m hoping to release soon, but for now, enjoy my new single, how am i, and my debut EP, change is hard. It captures the journey through seasons of change, and how I find God to be constant in the midst of all of it. I hope you enjoy!
